Donations for Seafarers Christmas Boxes

Tacoma Seafarers’ Center is a Christian non-profit organization serving the seafarers who call in the Port of Tacoma. Their purpose is to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of the seafarers.

On Sunday, December 1, during Education hour (9:15 a.m.), Rock Ministry will gather to pack and wrap 100 Christmas boxes that will be given out to the Seafarers. These packages contain practical items as well as a Christian Christmas message.

We need your help to gather the items that will go in each box. Receptacles for these donations will be just outside the Life Together Hall and in the Ed Building.

Items to Donate:

  • pairs of socks
  • soap (individually packaged)
  • tooth paste

  • skin lotion (small to medium sized bottles)
  • shampoo (small to medium sized bottles)

  • $ to purchase supplies in bulk

The best places to purchase items are stores like the Dollar Tree, Costco, or Fred Meyer.
