“Servant Songs”

A time of contemplative prayer anchored upon the four “Servant Songs” of Isaiah—42:1-4; 49:1-6; 50:4-7; and 52:13—53:12.
Brief readings of scripture, poetry, and hymns are followed by times of reflection, prayer, meditation, and creative response.
Bring a sketchbook and your art supplies, or a journal and your pen, or your Bible and a mind turned toward meditation, as we hear scripture, stories, and poems of Lent and then respond to them in prayer, in silence, or in the act of creation.
All are welcome. Recommended for middle school youth, high school youth, and adults.
