Mountain View Lutheran Church • Nominating Committee Announcement
In response to the ALIVE report from the Congregation Transition Team, the MLVC Nominating Committee has modified the process for nominating council members by creating an Application of Interest for a Council position. The application is available for all congregation members who would want to be considered for a Council position. Upon receiving the applications, the Nominating Committee will put forth a slate of candidates for the congregation to vote on based on the demographics identified in the ALIVE report.
Applications will be available in the Church Office or on the MVLC website beginning Monday, March 15, 2021. They can be returned to the Church Office or emailed to office@mtviewlutheran.org.

Mountain View Lutheran Church • Call Committee Formation
The work of the Mountain View Lutheran Transition Team is now complete, and its report has been published for member viewing. As a congregation we are now ready to move forward with the assembly of a Call Committee. The committee is given the responsibility and privilege of gathering potential pastoral candidates for interviews, ultimately recommending one to our congregation for the purpose of extending a call as our future senior pastor. Many Mountain View members who participated in the ALIVE team’s work indicated a strong desire to be an integral part of planning for this congregation’s future. As such, the Nominating Committee is soliciting names from the congregation of members who would like to serve on the Call Committee. Five open committee positions are to be filled reflecting Mountain View Lutheran Church’s demographical construct.
If you are interested in being considered by the Nominating Committee for a position on Mountain View’s Call Committee, please complete an Application of Interest which will be available in the Church Office or on the MVLC website beginning Monday, March 15, 2021.
