To amplify the voices of refugees in our Pacific Northwest communities, Lutheran Community Services Northwest (LCSNW) launched this art show to highlight refugee stories through art in honor of World Refugee Day.
Mountain View Lutheran Church hosts this show that highlights four artists— Maryam Azizpour, Mahshid Erfanfard, Luba Gonina, Akram Sarraj—all refugees who have settled in the Pacific Northwest. Please join us to learn more about the artists and their art that represents their stories, dreams, and experiences. Their art will be displayed in the Gathering Space on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon. A light breakfast will be provided for the Saturday viewing. You can also see their art on Sunday morning before and after worship services. Kelly McDonald of LCSNW will be available to answer questions.
