Lifelong Faith Formation

One of our “Marks of Discipleship” at Mountain View Lutheran Church is lifelong faith formation. We offer learning and educational opportunities for all ages.

9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings in the Education Building.

Rock Ministry is MVLC’s version of Sunday school. Classes are offered from children age 2 through seniors in high school. Kids and youth meet in peer groups/classes with a group of adult mentors to help guide them as they experience Bible stories or discuss topics of theology, current events, or their own faith journeys.

Adult Education is an opportunity for adults of all ages to learn from our pastors, professors from area universities such as Pacific Lutheran University and University of Puget Sound, MVLC ministry groups, and speakers from ministry partners. Recent classes have focused on the Gospel of Luke, Corner of Love mission trip to Honduras, evangelism, and a follow-up report from members of the MVLC ALIVE Team.
