The COVID-19 global pandemic has changed the way that we currently worship. For almost seven months (March to October 2020), our worship services were recorded and offered exclusively online. As of Sunday, October 4, 2020, we are now offering two in-person worship services at 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. You must register in advance if you plan on attending either of these services. (If you need more information or need help registering, then please contact the MVLC Church Office at 253-863-5171 or You can also view the 10:45 a.m. worship service via livestream. (You can find livestream links and information at the appropriate worship service “post” on the MVLC website’s home page.)

For more information about what our “return to worship” entails, please read the information at

Worship at Mountain View Lutheran Church is vibrant, vital, and liturgical. (In other words, it is dynamic and has a structure). Worship includes confession and absolution, hymns, prayers, statement of belief (creed), sermon, Holy Communion, and more. The music in worship is a mixture of traditional and contemporary sources, and is played on organ, piano, guitar, drums, and/or other instruments.

Each worship service is printed in a worship folder for your convenience and ease of use. Here are samples of worship folders, in order that you may see what worship at Mountain View Lutheran looks like and includes.
