Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the Education Building.
Rock Ministry is Mountain View Lutheran Church’s version of Sunday school. Children and youth meet in classes comprised of peer groups and adult mentors. Classes learn Bible stories and discuss their faith, with age-appropriate curriculum and resources.

Current classes are:
- 2-4 Year Olds. Godly Play is a Montessori-based format of making Bible stories come alive, and allows the children to hear, retell, and experience these stories.
- K-3rd Grade. Using the Spark: Activate Faith “Classroom” curriculum.*
- 4th and 5th Grade. Using the Spark: Activate Faith “Classroom” curriculum.*
- 6th Grade. Using the Spark: Activate Faith “Classroom” curriculum.*
- 7th-12th Grade. Junior high and senior high school youth discuss their own faith journeys and how they relate to the world in which we live, while engaging a lectionary-based series.

*Each Spark Classroom lesson follow a four-part sequence.
- Gather – Begin the day by gathering together and trying a warm-up activity.
- Open the Bible – Open Bibles and explore the day’s story.
- Activate Faith – Get moving and become engaged in the story they just read by using their leaflets.
- Send – Finish with a closing activity and prayer.
