Advent Quiet Morning

Join Communications Director Troy Kehm-Goins as we gather for a time of quiet near the start of Advent. A time to reflect upon the season of Advent in prayer and poetry and art. A time to “narrow down and focus in” on texts of anticipation and hope of the coming of our Lord, Jesus the Christ, “God with us,” Emmanuel.

Bring a sketchbook and your art supplies, or a journal and your pen, or your Bible and a mind turned toward meditation, as we hear stories and poems of Advent and then respond to them in prayer, in silence, or in the act of creation.

Lenten Midweek Worship

Lenten Journey:
Examining the Lives of Select Mystics in the Christian Tradition

Wednesday evenings • 3/13 through 4/10

6:00 p.m. – soup/bread dinner in the Life Together Hall
7:00 p.m. – Lenten midweek worship in the Sanctuary

Come and be at ease as we explore the yearnings of Thomas à Kempis, Julian of Norwich, Brother Lawrence, Teresa of Ávila, and Jean-Pierre de Caussade to be closer to God. Worship will be contemplative, meditative, reflective, and quieter than normal; filled with silence, song, and prayer.

Invite your family and friends to join us in a place and space where they can find refuge from the rhythms and turmoil of the world.
