We worship together.
Worship begins at 9:30 a.m. and will be approximately 30 minutes long. We will gather together for singing, scripture reading, and brief instructions for the events of the day.
We serve together.
Then, everyone will disperse to the various service projects from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (or until finished).
Sign up in the Gathering Space for one of the service projects.
-Clean up Nelson Nature Park with Pierce Conservation District.
-Serve a community meal at Messiah Lutheran Church, Auburn.
-Clean up at Mt. View Elementary Elementary School.
-Engage with the residents of Mill Ridge Village, Milton.
-Clean and organize the Edgewood Nourish Food Bank.
-Harvest orchard fruit in the MVLC Community Garden.
-Clean up trash along 122nd Avenue East.
-Provide a pre-game brunch for the families of Ashley House.
We eat together. At the end of the afternoon, everyone will return to MVLC at 4:00 p.m. for an all-church meal, reflecting on the projects accomplished and meaningful work done.
